India’s first free-roam Virtual Reality (VR) Gaming zone in Mumbai by blurring boundaries!
VR gaming zone, Mumbai
Zero Latency VR Gaming Zone is the first Free-roam Virtual Reality Gaming zone in India, franchised by entrepreneur Parineeta Rajgarhia in Mumbai's happening Todi Mills. The overall design look is inspired by a sci-fi spaceship theme with the blue, grey and white colours of the Australian brand Zero Latency. The space is divided into the reception, the lounge, and the 2000 sq.ft gaming zone.
The entrance is all grey, with blue edge lines and the white floating reception desk in keeping with a very sci-fi theme. The design is inspired by origami sculpture. The blue light just enhances the floating effect and the sharp angles of the table.
The lounge and cafe act as a waiting space before and after the game. It is a long linear lounge accessed from the reception, keeping the movement of incoming players and outgoing players streamlined. The lockers and the merchandise for sale, highlighted in the brand colours, reiterating the look of a cutting edge interior space. There is a graphical display connected to music in the lounge, adding excitement and adrenaline to the lounge space.
The free-roam game space is covered with graphics- a technical requirement and it enhances the look of the zone. The industrial look of the old Mumbai textile factories, with their sloping north light roof has been preserved as it is.
